"Have you or your family signed up for email communications through the District yet? If you haven’t, here is your opportunity to do so. In an effort to reduce costs, be responsible environmentally, as well as be able to more efficiently communicate with you on District news and/or events, we would like for each parent in our District to help us go to e-newsletters by the Fall of 2011. The more of you sign-up in this way, the less newsletters we have to print out. If you have not yet signed up to use emails through Power School, the District’s new records keeping software program, please do so in this link. www.csdnb.org, link to Parents Corner by 12/15. Sign up, indicate which school your child attends, and you’ll get a chance to win a Subway party for your child’s class. The emails will be organized by the school your student attends. So, the more parents signed up in your school, the quicker your child’s class can win a Subway foot-long party."

(Good thing the school board has increased its spending and hiring over the past 2 years … otherwise their newsletter might suck.)
